A Good Night for Softball

Lilli and Nomi beat a team last night that hasn't lost a game in two years! THey were pretty excited. The coach was so excited that he's throwing a party for the girls on Friday.

I haven't heard from Erin and Pat today. I wonder if they could take cell phones on their trek? Erin said that it poured rain yesterday and they will probably be walking through deep mud. However, she had a good attitude about it. She said that the bad weather would make them appreciate our pioneers more. I'm glad that I can appreciate from the comforts of home.

Ken is a great dad and he works hard for us. He works as a correctional officer and enjoys his job. What he does isn't for everyone. He just happens to be really good at dealing with inmates. Who knew? He is "man" He loves guns, motorcycles, weights and watching boxing and ultimate fighting. He gets so excited about things I don't understand, but It's good this way. :)
I'm a stay-at-home mom and I love it. I don't want to miss a moment of my kids being their little cute selves. They make me smile and remind me what innocence looks like. The best part of my life is taking care of my family. It's where I belong. It's what I'm supposed to do. It's good knowing my purpose in this life. What greater job can a person have than molding and shaping the next generation. It's sometimes a really tough job. Harder than anything I've ever done, but so so worth it.
I like to make things with my hands; any kind of craft. I love reading and I love to teach. I like sharing what I know with others. It's exciting to me to share ideas and principles with others. I like to tell stories and to read to my children. My least favorite thing is washing dishes. (I don't have a dish washer) I wash them and then they're dirty again. What's that all about?
