School's in Session...

Things went amazingly well on the first day of school for the Vehikite kids. There were no tears (except for the ones I choked back). Everyone woke up excited and ready for a new school year. Even Eli, the one I have worried about all year, did great. There was one point I thought things might start to crumble: As Ken and I stood outside his classroom with him, we noticed a woman crying in the hallway and then heard, who I assume was her son, screaming and crying on the floor yell, " I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL WITHOUT MY MOMMY!" Eli's eyes got a worried look and Ken suggested that we make it quick before he loses his nerve. He went with no problems. Here's a few pictures of the kids...

Cute cute pictures.
I'm glad that all went well.

I can't believe that John and I don't have to go to school anymore.

Retirement is great.

Have a good day.

I am SO glad Eli did so well, even with outside pressures from his classmates and their parents. Just a little secret.......I've cried most every year I drop them off on the first day. Of course, not in public.....way far away in the car as I'm driving away:)

P.S. Have you recieved the book I sent yet? Let me know when you get it.

Love you,
Jenny
